You just had to come and give one day where the temperature rose to 64 and then walk away, didn't you?
And now? You left us with highs of 38-41 again with chances of snow this week.
Not Cool.
You see, this family craves the summer and being outside. We loathe your winters.
Let's get back to the 60 and sunny when possible. mmmm, k?

I'm totally with you on this! It was so pretty Sunday and Monday. I even went for a run yesterday. I was looking forward to another one tomorrow BUT there is cold on the way!

ReplyDeleteI know just the place you need to visit... This place has all sorts of neat museums and aquariums, an ocean (!), and even an amusement park built around a mouse, whom kids love. Perhaps the best part? You could stay for free, and have a vehicle to use without renting one. It's supposed to be between 75 and 80 this week. Wanna start looking into flights?
ReplyDeleteWe were thinking of potentially trying to get out there with Drew this fall actually! Maybe like when it starts getting cold here?? Just wish we didn't have to pay for three flights, but we'll see. I know it would be SUPER fun!
DeleteWoohoo!! We also have an extra convertible carseat, so you wouldn't have to bring that - one less thing to pack! And, two strollers, so you could use one/both, too.

ReplyDeleteJust like here in Maine! We always say, "if you don't like the weather, wait a minute and it will change." It's sooo frustrating in the winter, because the snow can ruin so many plans. I'm more than ready for Spring and Summer and being back outdoors!!

ReplyDeleteUgh, I couldn't agree more! I want Spring to come so badly. Saturday we had beautiful weather in the low 60's. It was wonderful. I wish those temps. would have stuck around a little longer, but unfortunately its back down to 30's and 40's here as well. I am so ready for Spring.

I hate winter! Our snow was melting and then it started snowing again. I almost has an emotional breakdown. I'm from Louisiana and this is my first Illinois winter. I can't take it anymore! I'm pretty sure my husband is tired of my daily complaints about wanting to move back home...

ReplyDeleteThe weather's been so weird over here, too. Just when I'd thought that the warmer weather is finally here, it's gone way chilly again today.
I think we are getting our teaser right now, 70 and sunny. I know there's going to be more cold coming before we are really into Spring so I'm trying not to get too excited but I can't help it!!

ReplyDeleteyour family sounds EXACTLY like ours. that is the exact same weather situation here. we had one nice weekend in the 60s and then it was straight back to winter temperatures. ugh. i can hardly take being cold any more!! c'mon spring!! your son is adorable! found you through favorite photo friday at the long road to china.
