First off, I was so excited to read that so many of you enjoy doing puzzles too last week. I'm glad to hear there's other nerds out there like us who sometimes prefer a good puzzle and a drink over a crazy night on the town!
Secondly, guess who else seems to have a fondness for adult-sized puzzles? I caught our little stinker several times recently sneaking away to the table and forcing pieces together.
He didn't think anyone was watching and am pretty sure he was oblivious to the camera shutter as he was concentrating so hard. I couldn't resist trying to capture his little fat fingers working so diligently.
I just love that he didn't destroy the puzzle.... instead, he wanted to help and tried his best to match pieces. So smart.
I heart my sneaky turtle.

Aww! That's awesome! Yes, so glad that he didn't wreck it!
ReplyDeleteMy husband loves puzzles and did them a lot when we were first married. I use to hide a piece of his puzzle until he finished it and he would realize he was missing that last piece! haha. I don't have the patience for them.
ReplyDeleteNowadays, the only puzzles i do are the big wooden puzzles with Matthew. :)
Thanks for your comment. I am SO much more productive now that Matthew is in daycare during the day. :) I miss him like crazy during the day though. And the best is when I go to pick him up and his face lights up when he see's me and comes running to me with open arms, while screaming'mommy!'. Priceless.. :)
Awe that is cute. Looks like he knows exactly what he is doing lol. I have a 2000 piece puzzle sitting in a box for about 4 years may be one day i will be beave enough to get it out hahah
ReplyDeleteI love that you were able to get these pictures and that moment! He is such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteSweet little fella :) I remember working on a puzzle with my husband shortly after we had gotten a puppy, and he kept stealing pieces and eating them! Definitely not as sweet :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I see many nights with you three around the table working on puzzles in your future. :)
ReplyDeleteI really hate puzzles I don't have the brain for it. I can play games of any sort but sitting down and doing a puzzle makes my head hurt! lol
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures!
Adorable! I love doing puzzles and I used to always have one going. Hopefully I will be able to again some day when Hayes is a little older!

ReplyDeleteOh how sweet is this!! I love puzzles also, and they are especially fun to spend an evening putting them together when the weather outside is not so nice :) I also wanted to say thanks for stopping by a few days ago. It is always nice to find other bloggers in the Ohio area (and even better that you are in advertising!!). I look forward to getting to know you a little more through your blog :) Happy almost Friday!!

So cute, love the concentration on his face
ReplyDeleteYou already know I love puzzles ... but here's the BIG question: What do you do with them when you are done? In my family, we admired for a few days on the table, then immediately crumbled & packed back up to be done again. My best friend says they glued & framed their favorites. If you put them away, we should do a puzzle swap. I'm desperate for new puzzles because I'm convinced they keep my brain strong, but have a hard time parting with $15-$20 for new ones. Buying puzzles at garage sales is risky business because they could be missing pieces!
