Warning: this just might be yet another post about trains. And in other news, I think the Guinness Book of World Records left a message the other day... something about "record number of train posts on one blog". I guess that's the life of a boy.
So these pictures are from our visit to Kansas City a couple weeks ago, but they were just too cute not to post. You see, every year around the Holidays, the Kansas City Union Station has a big train display complete with tons of sets as well as a train for kids a bit older to ride. We went last year and Drew loved it so we figured another visit was worth making again this trip.
Although he wasn't old enough to partake in the train ride (no belts and short sides for him to crawl out of !), he absolutely enjoyed every other display. Want to see pictures? Oh well good.... let me show you some!

Great pics!! So fun!
ReplyDeleteLooks like I know where we'll be heading next Christmas! Perhaps we can make a day of it with the boys? Love the pics. Did Drew get a hair cut before Christmas??
ReplyDeleteLittle boys in stripes.....MELT!! So cute.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't make it there this year, sad!! But we went last year and both my boys ask to go back frequently!! Guess there's always next year! :)
ReplyDeleteLove that second photo...just totally mesmerized! Poppa is thrilled there may be another model rr enthusiast in the fam! He is usually the only non-architect, non-engineer in the model rr club competitions and yet earns a lot of Best of Shows in regional competitions.
ReplyDeleteI am getting homesick reading your posts! I wish I could have made it back to KC this year.
ReplyDeleteThe train room at Union Station is one of our favorite spots too! FYI the room with all the model trains is open year round, but the ride on train is only there at Christmas. Cute pics!
ReplyDeleteYou have been taking some wonderful pictures lately! Makes me want to get out the manual for my camera again and learn how to use it properly. We'll need to take a trip up to Union Station one of these years. Not sure if it will be more for Chloe or JJ though. :)
ReplyDeleteHe's just so cute! :) And for the record, I still click on all the train posts. Bring em on!
ReplyDeleteMy boys are the same way, we looove some trains around here!
